DESCRIPTION:Want to lower your utility bills\, get year-round comfort\, improve indoor air quality\, and reduce climate pollution?\n\nCome to the Home Electrification Fair at El Centro de la Raza to learn about electric appliances and incentive programs that can help you do just that. You can check out electric appliance options for space heating and cooling\, water heating\, clothes drying\, and cooking. You’ll also have the opportunity to talk to manufacturers and contractors about your projects.\n\nThe event will have informational booths for you to learn about programs offered by the city\, county\, utilities\, and nonprofits to help you electrify your home. Local chefs will also show you how to cook your favorite dishes with electric induction stoves and offer food tastings. Plus you’ll have the chance to win an electric portable induction cooktop and new cookware.\n\nJoin us on Tuesday\, Aug. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at El Centro de la Raza in the Centilia Cultural Center (2524 16th Ave. South\, Seattle\, WA 98144) – on Beacon Hill just off the light rail station.\n\nRegister for the event today!\n\nThis event is brought to you by the City of Seattle\, King County\, The Switch Is On\, and El Centro de la Raza.
