Leading with Equity and Justice in the Clean Energy Transition: Getting to the Starting Line for Residential Building Electrification

This paper reviews historical and current injustices within housing and community development in the United States, with a focus on technology adoption and program implementation. It includes a discussion of equity with a case study from the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. It argues for and presents programmatic implementation recommendations that will enable the equitable delivery of residential building electrification in ESJ communities.
