Leading the way
Creating a common vision of building decarbonization in Pennsylvania
Policy Support:
- Supporting the progress and implementation of key legislative initiatives such as PRESS (Pennsylvania Reliable Energy Sustainability Standard) and PACER (Pennsylvania Climate Emissions Reduction Act).
- Advocating for funding the Whole Home Repairs Program, a critical initiative aimed at improving habitability and supporting the transition to zero-emission technologies.
- Participating in the Home Energy Rebate Advisory Group to discuss and implement energy rebate programs focused on energy efficiency and electrification.
Partnerships and Coalition Building:
- Collaboration with organizations from the labor, environmental, and supply chain sectors to align community strategies and goals for building decarbonization.
- Facilitating educational webinars and meetings to coordinate efforts among coalition members and other stakeholders.
Research and Education:
- Researching the social and economics benefits Pennsylvania will see as a result of building decarbonization.
- Creating, promoting, and sharing resources to educate policy makers, workforce, and consumers about the benefits of energy efficiency and decarbonization.
