Electric Happy Hour! is back and at the historic Sutter Club this year. Join Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris and our all-star team of chefs––Kimberly Ayala, Rachelle Boucher, and Lisa Pinckney-Wong––for the live cooking event of the year!
Indulge in incredible Latin American food cooked on super-powered induction, stop by our chocolate dipping station, and discover the wonders of home electrification. We’ll be showcasing the world’s first energy storage-equipped induction range by Copper. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore Daikin’s highly efficient heat pump and learn why heat pumps are in such high demand for home heating and cooling.
The event is co-hosted by Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris, the Building Decarbonization Coalition, the California Latino Capitol Association Foundation, Daikin, and Copper.
We can’t wait to see you!
Featured Chef: Kimberly Ayala is a Salvadoran American private chef and media personality who specializes in induction cooking and education for builders and designers. Born in Los Angeles, her culinary passion ignited in her mother’s kitchen with baking and pastries. Kimberly’s take on Latin American classics, upgraded by induction, make her a Chefluencer favorite!
Featured Chef: Lisa Pinckney-Wong is Culinary Events Manager at Copper and a prominent, award-winning private chef and restaurateur who has cooked in the White House under President Barack Obama. Lisa’s work with Copper brings so much to the table, inspiring everyone including celebrity chef Samin Nosrat to switch to induction!
Emcee: BDC’s own Chef Rachelle Boucher — induction cooking super-fan, leader of the BDC’s Chefluencer Program, and media personality — will be our electric and magnetic host for the evening.
Attendance at this event by a public official will constitute acceptance of a reportable gift.
