Ambassadors needed to table and distribute materials on home electrification and electric appliances, while also promoting Switch Is On tools to electrify (incentive and contractor finder).

Little Saigon of San Diego has requested that The Switch Is On assist with event setup and takedown. Ambassadors will be needed before and after the event itself to assist in this effort. Schedules will be coordinated after signup.

You do not need to be present the entire time, we will gladly accept your availability.

Lunar New Year is a significant celebration in many East Asian cultures, marking the start of the lunar calendar. It’s a time for reflection on the past and a warm welcome to new beginnings. The festivities typically last for 15 days and include family reunions, delicious food, the giving of red envelopes, and various cultural activities such as dragon and lion dances.

The San Diego Lunar New Year Festival is a three-day event featuring a vibrant array of folk and traditional performances, arts and cultural exhibitions, lion dances, firecrackers, and numerous family-friendly activities. A highlight of the festival will be the Cultural Village, which aims to recreate the traditional villager lifestyle of Southeast Asia. Most importantly, this inclusive and festive event is open to the public and free of charge.
